Contemporary Garden
This high quality modern residence demanded a stylish contemporary setting. Priorities included immediate impact, privacy, and year round interest. The garden layout and hard landscape materials reflect the crisp architecture of the building; a series of offset rectangular spaces seamlessly link the interior of the house to the garden. The new fencing echoes the horizontal cladding of the building, whilst rectangular panels of ‘pleached’ hornbeam trees and pre-formed Beech hedge screen adjacent properties. The planting design concentrates on texture and form and reflects the building’s interior; a restrained palette of greys and greens with seasonal highlights of blue.
